This 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was first delivered to Porsche of Seaside in California, and it was purchased new by its current owner. It has 91k miles following registration history in the state. It is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic over Stone Gray leather leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, 19? Carrera Classic wheels, bi-xenon headlights, heated power-adjustable front seats, a Kenwood head unit, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. This 997.1 is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a window sticker, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the owner’s manual, service records, and a California title.
The car is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic and equipment includes a black convertible soft top, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The Carfax report lists “minor” damage to the front-right corner in a June 2016 entry, and a June 2022 entry also lists “minor” damage. A June 2022 service record in the gallery notes that the bumper covers, right-front fender liner, and left taillight were replaced.
The 19? Carrera Classic wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, which were fitted in January 2022. Braking is handled by four-piston monoblock calipers over vented and cross-drilled discs. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an automatic brake differential (ABD), and Anti Slip Regulation (ASR). The brake pad rotors and pads were also replaced in January 2022, along with the rear brake pad sensors.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Stone Gray leather. Features include a Kenwood touchscreen head unit, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The removed head unit is included in the sale. The steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer along with gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 91k miles.
The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The water pump and thermostat were replaced in October 2021, and the coolant expansion tank was replaced in July 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The shift cable was replaced in March 2022, and the flywheel was resurfaced and the clutch and throw-out bearing were replaced in November 2022.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists a production completion date of March 6, 2006, as well as identification numbers and optional equipment.
